just read KP's blog. yyann gave me the link.
some things that maybe i should help KP with as a child of God towards a brother in Christ and who at the same time is my buddy. :D
to the rest who are non Christians, this post is going to be very christian. if you are anti christian, please click the x at the top right or hit the back button. thank you very much.
the Bible has mentioned to us that we are to give and not to ask for anything in return. in my personal point of view, everyone has their selfish side. just that it may be in different areas and the amount of selfishness is different too. it is also based on their self control to showing how selfish they are. it is not an easy task, to be able to keep reminding yourself time and again not to repeat the bad habits that you may have.
if you feel that you have not shown apprecation to those who have helped you in the past, show them now. it is never too late. people will also appreciate that after helping you, you appreciate their help. or help them back, in whatever ways you can if possible. its a give-and-take logic kind of logic. everyone in this world is a sinner. which is why i always keep the song "So You Would Come" in my mind. Remember the lyrics:
"Nothing you can do
Could make him love you more
And nothing you've done
Could make him close the door"
He has already shown His great love to us by giving us His only Son Jesus, which is the greatest love he could give to us, a way to Him. so there's nothing we can do to make him love us more. and because of us sinning and Him continuing to forgive our sins, and he is always willing to forgive us despite what we have done, he will never close the door.
so bringing it to life on Earth, remember what your friends have done for you, true friends will never leave you when you are being outcasted. so you will never be outcasted. remember what they have done, for all we may know, when will these people need your help in the future. you may not be able to help them now, but i believe you will be able to help them in time to come. dont fret about it. leave it all in God's hands. He will always have a path for you to take. i know how it feels to doubt the God planning your way. i doubted Him for too long and finally i am back with Him again. our God works miracles. continue to trust in him. when your faith waver, talk to someone about it. you will definitely feel better. maybe even get enlightened.
if you feel blessed with what God has given you, reach out to those who have yet to experience the grace of God. bring them closer to Him. show love and concern to the people around you. be a testimony of God. i'm sure all these will please God alot and to the people who have cared for you. because after caring for you, you care for someone else. keep spreading the love.
i shall end here. this has been a long post. i need to sleep too. its almost 1.30 already and school starts in around 7 hours time. time to meet new people. bye guys. :D
