i'm back from OBS, and i've recovered. (:

being at OBS being an observer of how the instructors there really opened my eyes, and my kids gave me even more motivation to be an outdoor instructor. really. its the sense of achievement and enjoyment felt and expressed by them that makes me feel this way. if only i can post up what they wrote to me, on the back of the group photo i received. its awfully sweet.
*alex if you're reading this, SHUT UP. i know you're jealous. HAHAHA.

a scanned photo of our watch with Theresa, the instructor i was attached to, done by one of my pax and edited with our watch's name on the top. yep. they're all from TJC, IP programme. all 15 year olds in TJC now. a couple of them are even from AHS!

they tried to guess what i was actually doing there at OBS with them over the 5 days as our buddy watch instructor actually told the TJCians that i was there to observe human behaviour and was a psychologist of some sort! they only knew what i was really there for on the last day through Theresa when i had already left OBS campsite 2 for OBS campsite 1 for debriefing and i didnt get a chance to say bye to them. ):
nonetheless i still love them. thanks to everyone in RALEIGH, for the memories that you guys have given me in the 5 days, and for the well wishes written on the back of the photo i received. and i certainly hope to see them again, no matter where. (:
